Manage and oversee the supply chain activities for an annual expenditure of $70 million in revenue for Nerium finished products through third-party contract manufacturers presently located in Asia-Pacific and the U.S. • Qualify and pre-audit new and existing suppliers to Nerium International in conjunction with Corporate Quality policies and protocol including a thorough review of their financial status. • Responsible for creation of policies, procedures and work instructions for department and cross-functional department processes. • Research new suppliers and technologies and introduce them to the New Product Development and Marketing team for use on next generation products. • Engage and facilitate on new product introductions through cross-functional team interaction consisting of members representing: Supply Chain, NPD, Marketing, Regulatory, Project Management, Creative & Consumer/Clinical. • Prepare and present Packaging/Formulation proposals to the Chief Marketing Officer, V.P, Marketing and Director of New Product Development to obtain best supplier selection, value and quality. • Perform Request for Quotes, Inquiries, Proposals (RFQ, RFI, RFP’s) on existing product lines and on new product introductions.
