About Robert Lotz

I see myself as a ever-growing professional in the areas of Project Management, IT Systems, Emergency Planning and Operations, and Strategic Risk Management.As a two-branch veteran of the Armed Forces (USMC & US Army National Guard) I have had the chance to learn from some of the best leaders across this great nation, both at home and abroad. I have been tested in ongoing operational capacities from large-scale training evolutions, hazardous duty humanitarian operations (East Timor - and wartime service with deployment to the combat zone (Kuwait/Iraq - 2008).Outside of my military service, I have dedicated my professional life to the protection of my community (The City of Dayton, OH) for over 23 years. Originally as a Firefighter/Paramedic providing Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire Safety Education, I transitioned to the leadership team in 2015 as the Departments Technologies and Data Analyst. There I helped with the planning and management of departmental IT assets as well as served as the primary manager and data analyst for departmental operational and personnel data.In that role I helped the administration throughout a multitude of critical incidents to include such events as the Opioid Crisis, Memorial Day Tornado, the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as many other smaller crisis's. I look forward to my next adventure in the real of IT Systems or Data Management, Organizational Leadership, Risk Analysis, or Emergency Planning and Preparedness.
