As an Associate Government Program Analyst at the Department of Social Services (DSS), I contribute to the planning, development, and implementation of various social service programs and projects. I apply my attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of capital expenditures to review and monitor budgets, contracts, and proposals, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Before joining DSS, I worked as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) for five years in different settings, including hospitals, laboratories, and prisons. I gained valuable experience in direct patient care, infection control, and specimen collection and processing. I am also certified by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and hold a CPT2 license from the California Department of Public Health. My passion for helping others and advancing my career motivated me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, which I completed in 2022. I learned the fundamentals of business operations, management, and leadership, as well as how to apply them in the public sector. My goal is to become a Registered Nurse and leverage my skills and education to provide quality health care services to the community.
