Background
About Robert M. Evans
As a third-year Juris Doctor candidate at American University Washington College of Law, I am interested in pursuing the practice areas of national security, counterintelligence, Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), economic espionage, export control and sanctions, criminal cyber threats, criminal litigation, criminal investigation and prosecution, Classified Information Procedures Act (CIPA), and public service. Prior to his graduation from Lehigh Valley Academy in 2013, Robert was honored to receive acceptances from and offered admission to numerous institutions throughout the United States, including: University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, Boston College, Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, University of Rochester, Drexel University, Muhlenberg College, and Moravian College. However, Robert ultimately decided to attend the prestigious Lehigh University for his undergraduate degree. From the beginning of his enrollment at Lehigh Valley Academy in 2007, Robert accomplished highly recognizable academic achievements. Such as, maintaining at least a 4.0 grade average from 7th grade to 12th grade and remaining a member of the Distinguished (High) Honor Roll for all four quarters from 7th grade to 12th grade. Robert was also honored with many academic awards during his enrollment at Lehigh Valley Academy such as, in 7th Grade: Personal Success Award for High Honors in all four quarters, the Academic Excellence Award (1 of 3 honored), the I.B. Attitude Award, and the Excellence in Spanish Award (1 of 2 honored). In 9th grade, due to his outstanding academic record, Robert was also nominated to attend Lebanon Valley College Career Courses, the National Youth Leadership Conference and the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI, in which only the top 5% of the highest achieving scholars throughout the nation are nominated. During the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI, Robert also stood out amongst his fellow scholars in mock trials and Supreme Court simulations, writing well prepared briefs and providing convincing opening statements and oral arguments. These statements were proven true to their meanings when Robert and his legal team received a 9-0 verdict from the justices in their Supreme Court simulation. During the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI, Robert also received the National Youth Leadership Forum Certificate of Achievement.
