For the past thirty years, I have been an active Board member and investor in thirteen private corporations in the manufacturing and service industries, which, in the aggregate, have achieved significant growth in shareholder value. Industries include food processing, machine tools, textiles, printing, sporting goods, display fixtures, and distribution. I have also served on five non-profit Boards.As a Board member, my chief strength is working with other members to make the Board a strategic asset to the CEO. I have served on both audit and compensation committees. My focus is on continuous improvement. We continue to seek acquisitions that fit our criteria.I remain active in ongoing learning through National Association of Corporate Directors and the Private Directors Association, and I hold a firm belief in "giving back" through educational and community engagement.Since 2018, I have served as Executive Director and Trustee of the Horizon Caddie Scholarship Program which was founded by Horizon Partners, Ltd. to enrich the lives of the city's youth by combining an outstanding private high school education with summer jobs as caddies at a local golf club. The objectives of this summer job are to develop a strong work ethic, make money, and grow personally by being with golfers/adults with successful careers.I am also dedicated in my support of two well-deserving entities. I graduated from Marquette University High School in Milwaukee in 1966 and was featured in the school's Gift Planning Newsletter in the Spring of 2016 - see attached. Also, I was pictured on the cover of the Evans Scholars Foundation 2015 fundraising brochure - attached. Evans Scholars is a golf-related program to assist high school students who caddie in attaining a scholarship to college.
