About Robert Manganaro

I am searching for an opportunity to combine my passion for physics, the Japanese language, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking skills in order to solve problems with real and beneficial implications. This position would ideally allow me to help an organization with progressive ideals, and would relevantly apply quantitative skills developed through the Physics major. After working at The Gravity Vault for multiple seasons I've developed my skills in communication, being a team member, and leadership. As an instructor I learned through interacting with customers and being out on the floor with them. I managed and ran camps, classes, parties, and other events. In one instance I was able to use my Japanese language skills to include a brother and sister who weren’t interacting with the group until we started talking. They became more comfortable and enjoyed the rest of the camp. My quantitative skills continue to develop through Franklin and Marshall's physics department with rigorous problem solving as part of the curriculum. Physics has helped me better understand the world and see it through more than just a visual lens, but also a mathematical and analytical one. I believe this perspective, and the skills learned through it, will help me contribute to whatever a company needs. I am continuing to learn and hone my Japanese through my minor in the language. I follow my interests very passionately, and want to work for an organization that values my enthusiasm and intensity.
