About Robert McKenny

Certified Professional Landman with over 10 year of Oil and Gas experience with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Management from the University of Oklahoma and a Minor in Finance. In my current role at Comstock Resources, Inc. based in Frisco, TX, I serve as a Land Specialist for the Western Haynesville region. With a focus on acquisitions and divestitures, I've successfully managed due diligence projects and accounted for significant acreage acquisitions through meticulous research and strategic management. Additionally, I excel in lease expiration management and coordination with upper land management and drilling operations, ensuring compliance and protecting company interests. Prior to my current position, I spent several years at XTO Energy Inc. in various capacities, including as a Landman and Division Order Analyst. During my tenure, I negotiated and drafted complex contracts, coordinated leasing activities, and facilitated acquisitions and divestitures across extensive acreage. Notably, I played a key role in testifying in regulatory hearings, securing drilling permits for multi-unit horizontal wells, and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations.
