Robert is an efficient and high performance business leader with a proven track record in strategic and commercial leadership spanning 20 years and excels in orchestrating strategic change, driving organisational and team alignment, building momentum around business priorities and delivering superior business results (consistently churning over 85% in G.P. margin, 65% in N.P. margin, 35% in EBITDA margin). Robert leverages both his natural authenticity and strong diverse experience across a set of functional areas (strategy, sales & marketing, CRM, finance, human resources and supply chain) to create impetus and dynamism in organisations and teams. He has been particularly successful in creating highly engaged teams and organisations. Robert has ably overseen a complete reframe of Eusbett Hotel despite very challenging external operating conditions. He is a corporate strategist and competition expert, and has used strategic marketing interventions in several forms and degrees to reposition Eusbett Hotel as one of the most preferred business hotel brands in Ghana. He has proven to be a very dynamic and highly adaptive. Over time, he has led the Eusbett Group to diversify into several other industries for purposes of risk management and maximization of shareholder value. His personal values are Trust, Integrity, Diligence and Stewardship Robert holds an MBA in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a first degree in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast, both in Ghana. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK), the Institute of Hospitality (IH,UK), the Institute of Directors, Ghana (IoD-Gh) and the International Association of Hotel General Managers (IAHGM). In October 2019, Robert was named the Male Personality of the Year at Ghana’s 40Under40 Awards, having been earlier in the year nominated for the CIMG Marketing Practitioner of the Year. In November 2019, Robert was named the Up and Coming Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors – Ghana. The Ghana Business Awards also in 2020 awarded him the Most Promising CEO of the Year. In 2023, he was recognized as the General Manager of the Year (4 Star category) at the Hospitality Awards Africa. Robert has led Eusbett Hotel to become the most decorated hotel with 15 industry awards from the regulator, the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA). In November 2021, Robert led Eusbett Hotel to be awarded the prestigious CIMG Hospitality Facility of the Year (Hotels) 2020 and the Sustainability Award at the GTA’s National Tourism Award.
