About Robert Miculas

I am a multidisciplinary designer with main focus on the emotional and psychological impact of products we use. From the very early stage of the project, I focus on meeting the user needs through simplicity and intuitive design. As part of my design thinking approach, I investigate deeply into user experience to deliver a creative solution.I'm an industrial designer, based in Barcelona, graduated from National Collage of Art and Design Dublin Ireland in 2014 with a Msc. degree in Medical Device Design, after receiving a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design at University of Arts Cluj Napoca, Romania in 2007. Throughout my work experience I developed concept designs for Sonarc, Kite Medical, Incereb, EiraTech Sollutions, Cook Medical, Hollister, and many other renowned brands. Prior to coming to Ireland, I was in charge of the corporate identity of one of the largest designer home finishes supplier in Romania, as brand manager. My day to day activity revolves around developing concept design, prototype design and presentations for healthcare and lifestyle products, focusing mainly on human factors and user interface.
