About Robert Minkus

I am a trusted advisor to companies large and small in matters of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. Clients, as well as adverse parties and their counsel, see me as someone who finds creative, fair solutions to their issues and gets deals done. I also advise public companies on their disclosure duties and securities law compliance and provide general corporate representation to both public and privately-held companies. My responsiveness and practical approach have earned me a place on the BTI Client Service All-Star Team every year since 2012. I have represented clients in the energy, industrial distribution, manufacturing, professional services and financial services industries. In representing a client, I strive to understand their business priorities and the bottom-line impact a transaction will have on their business. I find it gratifying when my client views me as a member of their team, and I enjoy seeing the positive impact my work and my ideas have on their businesses. I also am invested in the future of my firm as chair of Schiff Hardin’s Professional Personnel Committee and member of our Diversity Committee. My work on associate development and advancement is an important way to guide the next generation of partners.
