I’ve always had a passion for helping people and a strong curiosity with how the world works behind the screens. As a sales and customer support specialist with over 12 years in e-commerce and retail sales, so earned my CompTIA A+ certification Oct 2021. I wanted to further my career in this new direction and found an opportunity where I can apply my acquired IT skills along with my expertise in interacting with clients and customers.Having earned my CompTIA A+ certification October 2021, I am up to date with the most recent skill sets and information this certification requires. I am competent in skills such as operating systems, virtualization and troubleshooting just to name a few and have put them to use in building a small home virtual lab running windows server 2016 and Active Directory.I was hired as a level one technical support representative where I performed basic functions like updating client information in our proprietary CRM, full account builds, password resets along with payment services such as processing new client apps for processing and light support with terminal data base clears, configuring IP’s in the terminal dynamic vs static terminal configuration. I was promoted in 3 months to point of sale terminal technician where on top of what I did in my previous role, I remote in and do full configurations of our payment processing side of over 25 point of sale systems including router port forwarding, netsh rules, mapping network schemes for configuring IP’s in our terminal file builds, firewall rules for open ports and much more.
