About Robert Murray

With over ten years of experience in construction management and electrical engineering, I am a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) and a Construction Manager at Kiewit Energy Canada, one of the largest and most respected construction and engineering organizations in North America. Currently, I oversee the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of industrial projects, ensuring coordination, planning, risk management, and safe construction execution. Throughout my career I have held several field positions, Field Engineer (Electrical), Construction Superintendent, and Construction Manager across various industrial projects in both Alberta and BC. Over the last few years, I also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree through the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta, with a strategic focus on Energy and Finance. I have received multiple awards for my academic and community achievements, such as the Paul Wacko MBA Award in Natural Resources & Energy and the Labatt's MBA Fellow Award. As part of my MBA program, I completed a five-month internship at KPMG Canada's Management Consulting service line, working in the Finance Transformation group. There, I applied my analytical and problem-solving skills to help clients optimize their financial processes and systems. I am passionate about learning new skills, exploring new opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of the energy and construction sectors.
