WORK EXPERIENCE : 10YEARS MINING, OIL & GAS SUPERVISOR, LNG EXPERIENCE THROUGOUT AUSTRALIA, 20 YEARS WORKING ON LARGE SCALE LNG GAS PLANTS AND OIL REFINERYS, AND VARIOUS SHUTDOWNS IN THE NORTH WEST AUSTRALIA ALSO OFFSHORE WORK IN THE NORTH SEA ON LIVE AND DE COMMISSIONED PLATFORMS AS A SCAFFOLDER/RIGGER, I HAVE HAD A LOT OF USE OF THE LAYHER SYSTEM SCAFFOLDING MOSTLY ON PLUTO LNG/GORGON LNG Having been involved in scaffolding since I was 16 years of age/rigging since 24 yrs old initially travelling throughout the UK, working on shutdowns in oil refineries, chemical plants and new build power stations using both tube and fitting and modular type scaffolds. I have paid particular focus to the health & Safety aspects of the industry priding myself in having responsibility for both myself and others in the workplace. Production of JSA, Risk assessments and Method statements, carried out pre-starts with workforce/crews with an emphasis that everyone goes home safely. Worked in the role of Scaffold inspector, and assisted in the training of new scaffolders as required.
