Bob is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Thrifty White Pharmacy, a regional pharmacy chain headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota comprised of 98 corporate locations and 80 affiliated pharmacies. Thrifty White Pharmacy was founded in 1884 and has grown into one of the largest companies in the nation to operate under a 100% employee stock ownership plan. Thrifty White Pharmacy is committed to healthy outcomes by offering professional pharmacy services with a focus on quality and reducing overall healthcare costs. Thrifty White Pharmacy stores are located primarily in rural markets in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Montana. Their model includes Traditional Drug stores, Telepharmacy a Central Fill Pharmacy and Closed Door Long Term Care Pharmacies that service over LTC beds. Bob joined Thrifty White in 1990 and has held various Executive positions with the organization and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in April He is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, acquisitions and policies. Bob is a past Chairman, active Board Member and Executive Committee member of National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS). He is also an active member of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and a Board member of the Mirixa Corporation and The Buyers Consortium.
