About Robert Neruda

I am an equity partner at HAVEL & PARTNERS and I head the firm's team of lawyers and economists specialising in competition/antitrust law and FDI. HAVEL & PARTNERS is the largest law firm in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and fastest-growing law firm in the CEE region. Our team includes more than 290 lawyers and law professionals. I joined HAVEL & PARTNERS in 2010. Before that, I was the Vice-Chair of the Czech Competition Authority responsible for antitrust policy and enforcement and for a short period served also as its acting chairman. In 2004 and 2005, I was an assistant judge of the Supreme Administrative Court. I give regular lectures at the Masaryk University in Brno and speak at international conferences. I am the co-author of the commentary on the Czech Competition Act and the author and co-author of dozens of articles. I am a founding member of the “Rozumné právo“ platform and a member of the editorial boards of the journals Antitrust and Oxford Competition Law. In 2017, I was named one of the six most innovative lawyers in the Czech Republic. Loving husband and father of two sons.
