About Robert Nicholls
I started my career in the entertainment industry in 1996 as a stage hand, with the Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls. After graduating from Sheridan College's Theatre Arts - Technical Production Program in 2001, I worked for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). In 2002 I started a job at Brock University in their Centre for the Arts as a lighting and sound operator, and was made head of sound in 2010. In 2003 I worked a short stint with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA Entertainment LLC) In 2015 the Centre for the Arts closed down, and I transitioned over to the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre as a Production Supervisor. In May of 2022 I was promoted to Production Manager. I am proficient in Autocad, Avid and Yamaha Sound consoles, ETC lighting consoles and Blackmagic video equipment.
