Significant knowledge of ship structures and the processes required building them; mechanisms; various cement plant systems; classification society, flag state and PSC requirements. As a Superintendent general I am responsible the ISM Code is to ensure the resources are in place for the smooth and safe operation of the ships, with duties of Cement Fleet. My main responsibilities are- Ships' compliance with applicable Flag State, Port State and international laws, MARPOL, MLC, Energy Efficiency, rules and regulations- Daily monitoring of vessels both from technical and compliance perspective- Monitoring vessel’s daily reports and timely communication with vessel in case any readings outside of normal parameters - Supporting ships in emergency situations- Collection and distribution of documents and technical information appropriate for the vessel- Overall control of the Safety Management System documentation- Maintenance of close contacts with Masters, Officers and Flag Administration- Ensuring good maintenance for a reasonable cost- Coordinating proper communication with Charterers, Owners, Managers - Dry Dock controlling I have a good experience with following systems and software used on board vessels- Cement Plants Consilius, Mac Gregor, Asto, Vamo - Van Aalst - Rocwell Automat. System - safety of the vessel - AMOS 2 and Bassnet- maintenance and purchase orders - AMOS (Business Suite), Bassnet- electronic chart system manufactured by Raytheon, Transas, Furuno- cargo operation and basic maintenance of vessel equipped with Gantry Crane, and cranes manufactured by MacGregor- cargo operation and maintenance of vessel equipped with Cement Loading and Discharging Equipment - BME, Cargotec, MacGregor, Vamo, Asto - anchor operations on combination winch,
