About Robert Ogbewi

I have over 20years of wide-ranging accumulative experience both in the oil and gas industry and Government. The 20 years experiences have been centered around Civil Engineering project management, design and construction. I also have experience in, dredging rig access and slots and marine civil engineering e.g.Jetty, dolphins boulders and sheet pipes walls construction. From 2011 till date,I have increased my knowledge and skills in preparing locations for oil and gas rigs which has made me now become an expert both on land and swamp oil and gas wells over the years. From 2015 to 2018, I coordinated the civil team in Seplat as the acting civil lead. I was also the lead civil structural engineer for the ANOH gas plant Front end Engineering Design (FEED in 2016 till March of 2017.Working as a lead civil structural Engineer with ANOH afforded me to work in GPS office in Dubai for the FEED. In 2017, I was the project lead Engineer for the Warri refinery Jetty project in 2017. I charted licensed Civil Engineer in Nigeria registered with The Council of Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN). I am also a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers in Nigeria (NSE). Having a Master’s degree in Engineering Management has aided me in becoming a pre-emptive planner, and a very good Project Manager for civil engineering projects. My postgraduate study in project management at Robert Gordon University in the UK have also enhanced my project management knowledge and skills and also increased my knowledge and skills in Microsoft project tool for scheduling and planning projects. I am also skillful in the use of resource allocation and earned value analysis tools in delivering project on schedule without compromising quality and safety. Robert Gordon University also enriched my leadership skills which has abetted me to currently lead the civil engineering team in Seplat Western asset division. As the Civil lead, which I am I have held for over two years, I have been able to mentor younger Engineers as well as managing Civil capital projects. I am hardworking and a very good team player. My greatest strength is my flexibility. I am able to adapt quickly to higher responsibilities at work place.
