20+ year marine financing industry veteran. Former board member and Vice President of the National Marine Lenders Association. Recently founded Fairwind Financial Corporation, a boat and yacht financing company headquartered in Shelton, CT. With many of the large marine loan originators moving to the mass production and corporate business model, I saw the need for a return to the small business, boutique style company whose primary focus was personal interaction, tailored financing solutions, and superior customer service. With an extensive list of both regional and national banking partners, Fairwind offers a wide variety of lending options for loans between $25K and $5M+ to borrowers from coast to coast. Financing is available for new and used boats, sold by boat dealers and yacht brokers, or via private party transactions. Although our primary focus is the recreational boat and yacht market, we can also finance select RV's and private aircraft.
