2/2020 to Present: Sole proprietor of Synergistic Solutions, a general research and policy consultancy firm retained on a project basis. Clients and collaborators include non-profit and community-based organizations interested in advocating for and equitable transition to a carbon-free society. Actively participating in CEC/CPUC proceedings relating to microgrid commercialization and transitioning to a high-DER future, as well as non-profit/CBO coalitions seeking for form policy and legislative prescriptions relevant to energy decarbonization and democratization. 3/2014 - 1/2020: Director of Energy Research for the World Business Academy (the "Academy"), a non-profit business think tank, action incubator and network of business and thought leaders whose mission is to inspire business to assume responsibility for the whole of society and assist those in business who share its values. The Academy’s projects and publications take on today’s challenges including environmental degradation; the shift away from dirty energy and toward clean, renewable energy; and the existential threat posed by climate change. Its work explores new metrics for valuation of public companies, value-driven leadership, the development of the human potential at work, sustainable business strategies and global reconstruction. Formerly an executive assistant with 8+ years of experience supporting C-level executives to improve internal operations for a publicly-held corporation operating in multiple states.
