About Robert Pluck

A versatile and high performing Logistics Manager with extensive experience in import/export logistics, supply chain operations, project management and procurement. My personal philosophy is all about critical thinking and continuous improvement, which starts by asking the basic questions, such as how and why things are done and is there a better way? This gives me the determination and focus to drive improvement initiatives through the use of analytics and lean techniques to solve problems. I have extensive experience in global logistics for both containerised and parcel logistics, along with general operations and inventory management. These experiences have allowed me to demonstrate my value by successfully implementing changes which have had a dramatic affect on KPI and business operating costs. I’ve also had significant exposure to project management, leading several major integrations in an e-commerce setting. My natural interpersonal skills have helped me become a successful leader, influencer and mentor. I know and understand the importance and value of building relationships between key customers and stakeholders. Furthermore, I jump at the chance to mentor and teach others as this is truly where my passion lies.
