About Robert Powell
I started Powell Associates Ltd.("PAL") in 2010 after having provided insolvency services in the Maritimes since 2003. In 2023, Angela Rodgers and David Moffatt became my partners in PAL and they are now the majority owners. They will lead PAL into the future. The firm has grown and we have an awesome team providing services to consumer and business debtors who find themselves in financial difficulty. PAL is a small firm but we are nimble, creative and practical. I started in the insolvency profession in 1989 and became a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 1993. I have worked in Ottawa, Toronto and the Maritimes for a large national insolvency firm, regional firm and finally for myself with the team at PAL. Collectively, we have worked in an extensive number of industries and situations and we bring all of our talent to the table in each engagement in order to try and achieve the best possible outcome.
