About Robert Reeder

I was raised on a ranch in rural Idaho and when I was 18 I moved away to go to College at the College of Southern Idaho to study business management. At the age of 19 I started working for a company based out of Carrollton Texas that operated amusement centers in shopping malls around the country. I worked for them for 30 years and going from a part time employee to the Regional Operations Manager of the west coast. I have decided that I would like to pursue another type of industry so I wanted to see what I could do with the skills I had learned in the 30 years that I worked for them. While working for my former employer, I learned a lot of skills that I think can be useful to another company. At one time there were 100 employees in my division so I did a lot of human resource work. It was also a very conservative company that did not like to spend money whenever possible, so I learned just about everything, from driving a forklift to repairing neon signs as well as customer service to dealing with upset customers as well as unhappy landlords. I also had learned to interact with perspective landlords and businesses where we were trying to establish new locations. I also spent a great deal of time on repairs and maintenance of the machines we operated. We did all of our own repairs and often dealing with inexperienced staff left me to be responsible for a lot of repairs and rebuilding of equipment, which I found to be one of my favorite parts of the job. I traveled extensively across the country, both east and west coasts and earned over one million miles on Delta Airlines in the process. I also spent a short period of time in Australia, as well as a brief trip to Asia to meet new manufactures and gain new ideas, so extensive travel is something that I have grown accustomed to. I am eager to try a new career and look forward to any opportunities that may come.
