About Robert Revzin

With over six years of work experience in the public sector, I am a passionate and driven legal, regulatory, and compliance leader with a J.D. degree. I have a strong background in policy development, recommendation, and implementation, as well as oversight, document control, training, and planning functions. I currently work as the Deputy Director of Regulations at NJ TRANSIT, where I support the Procurement Department, including Senior and Executive Management, coordinate activities of importance, and track priority issues. I am committed to advancing NJ TRANSIT's strategic and legislative positions with external parties, such as federal and state agencies, and transportation policy organizations. I value collaboration, innovation, and strategy, and I bring a unique perspective and experience to the team, as I am fluent in English and Russian, and received a J.D. with honors from New York Law School. In my current role, I leverage my skills in contract review, legal interpretation, and time management to effectively communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders, and to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. I also oversee and drive the procurement of goods and services, and participate in organizational planning and development. Additionally, I have assisted in several investigations and disciplinary actions of union-represented employees, as I have previous experience as a Trial Officer/Hearing Officer at Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and as a Special Counsel at The Special Commissioner of Investigation for the New York City School District. I have also obtained multiple certifications in incident command system, social media in emergency management, and human subjects training, which demonstrate my dedication to continuous learning and improvement.
