About Robert Ricks

When people look at my varied interests and the many industries/positions I’ve held in my career, the thing they ask most often is, “Rob, where do you find the time?” I start by continually striving to be a “Solutions Master” and get the job done right. I have worn many hats and done many things with all sorts of titles (VP Marketing, Designer, Webmaster, Q&A, Customer Service, Manager, CEO, etc.) My success in each one can best be boiled down to thinking outside the box when finding solutions to problems. As the primary developer of the support system TicketSystem at Cywest, my job once again involves wearing many hats, but the cool thing is each one shares a central goal: to get our message of unparalleled innovation and network performance heard by executives across the globe. We’re disrupters in our industry and we want to free companies from dealing with the same old issues of bandwidth, quality of service and poor customer support. It’s exciting to be part of a solution that works, a solution that makes business operations actually better, and a company that still lets me be me and appreciates what I bring to the table. I’m also an author of numerous books (available at the links below), a YouTube personality, a raconteur, and someone with years of experience in graphic design for the gaming industry and for interactive media companies. Where do I find the time? Perhaps the simplest answer is I believe life is meant to be lived and experienced to the fullest and so I just do.
