About Robert Ring

My name is Robert Ring. I have been married for fourteen years and have three growing children. Ryder (11), Charlotte (9), and Quentin (7). I currently reside in Mount Pleasant SC. Professionally I have spent 25 years in the automotive business. In that time, I have worked in over 25 different US markets ranging from major metros like Los Angeles and Philadelphia to mid and small markets like the Lehigh Valley and Rockingham County NH. My roots in the car business are very deep and encompass many of my family members. My grandfather Ed Newman (Mothers side) ran a Chevy Franchise in Allentown PA from 1951 to 1969. My grandfathers name is still very well known and his reputation for creative advertising and customer service continues to be his legacy. Yes Chant Inc was formed in January of 2009.B.D.C's were replacing Internet departments nation wide.(Business Development Centers). I was prepared, I had the scripts and process to make them widely successful. Every dealer either wanted one or badly needed to manage the one they had. In 2009 I also started writing copy for radio ads. My reputation for results quickly turned Yes Chant into a full blown agency. The opportunities continued to be countless. Yes Chant was now “Fully Accountable” for showroom traffic. I wrote and purchased all forms of media. I placed the Website and CRM in the store. My BDC’s handled the leads and filled showrooms at an alarming pace. In April of 2018 I purchased my first store Major Hyundai. I currently hold the position of Dealer Principal and majority owner. Major Hyundai is located in Stroudsburg, PA has 40 employees. In September of 2020 Major Automotive Group opened Major Kia in Newton NJ. I subscribe to a “servant leadership” style. I believe working hard to help others accomplish their goals allow me to capture my own.
