About Robert Rogowski

I received my Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Old Dominion University. I am a fully qualified scientist/researcher in the field of medical research and development. I have extensive experience working independently on research projects in private, educational and government research and development with numerous years of hands on experience in HPLC, LC/Mass Spectrometry, LC/MS/MS, and GC (also GC/MS) which includes both protein and chemical purification techniques. My many years of working in and managing a laboratory have given me the opportunity to be proficient with a wide range of analytical instrumentation. I have isolated both single molecular compounds and proteins from bacterial cultures, the human body, bovine, snakes and scorpions, just to name a few of my achievements. My research projects and lab experience in the science field have resulted in numerous publications in peer reviewed scientific journals. I have experience managing and running a HPLC, LC/MS, Gel Permeation Chromatography, Gas Chromatography and GC/MS laboratory with limited supervision. I am very mechanically inclined and able to troubleshot and repair analytical chemistry instrumentation, especially HPLC and LC/MS systems. I have a great disposition with my colleagues, graduate students and personnel that I have supervised.
