My background as a commander of the largest submarine squadron in the U.S. Navy and as a leader in submarine and nuclear power systems has uniquely prepared me to navigate highly risky and novel situations, allowing me to save billions of dollars for hospitals and put the safety of personnel, employees, and patients at the forefront. Milestones As Executive Director of High Reliability and Radiation Safety at AdventHealth Corporate, I have implemented cultural interventions that have resulted in cost savings of millions of dollars for the hospital and have improved safety and reduced turnover in multiple healthcare departments. I am proud to have served as the Chair of the Florida Chamber Health Council, leading state-wide efforts to make Florida the safest, healthiest, and most sustainable state in the U.S. I am a published author and multi-certified professional and have been the recipient of numerous awards and honors for my contributions to the healthcare industry.
