I am Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for Dentons Canada and a member of the National Management Committee. I advise the Canada Region Chief Executive Officer and Board on various issues and lead the Office of the General Counsel and Risk teams who deal with a range of matters, including ethics, conflicts, litigation, insurance, contractual issues and risk mitigation. As a corporate partner with a practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure, corporate transactions, corporate structuring and governance, I have extensive experience working with key industries including infrastructure (water; wastewater; electricity generation), construction, energy, transportation, forestry, agricultural, retail and financial sectors. I have held multiple management roles at Dentons Canada, including National Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Managing Partner of the Edmonton office, and member and presiding member of the Firm's National Partnership Board.
