Continues to champion improvements to processes and enhancements. • Active in industry - Spoke & participated at industry conferences on variety of topics, including implementing a sustainable internal control program that is distributed to engage key control owners & operators, controllership challenges and managing changing demands in accounting. • Led key accounting workstreams in three major transformative acquisitions – pivotal merger with Consumers Water in which expanded operating footprint from single-state to five-states, acquisition of AquaSource in 2003 which added five additional states, and most recently in March 2020 with the acquisition of Peoples Gas, marking Essential’s expansion into the natural gas utility business.
