About Robert Rustenbeck

I was born and raised in the USA! I love the ‘Four Corners’ region where I’ve lived at various times in all 4 of the states adjoined at a USGS designated geospatial singularity. But I'm not tied to the American Southwest either. My professional career started in the Air Force and enabled me to live on 3 continents getting to know different cultures while serving my American countryman both at home and overseas. Post AF my career moved to the private sector where I continue to ply my skills and experience to the benefit of others and myself. I'm a career Telecommunication Network Systems professional with experience in systems development, project management and sustaining engineering. I not only can say ‘Jigga-Watt’ but I actually know what it means (… more power!). Professionally a key motivator for me is mission-purpose; the ‘why’ behind the drive to success. Being successful is meaningless if the effort does not result in a positive impact for other people. That said, success attainment is my goal in any task I put my hand to, providing the best result possible for the customer and my team. I thrive in a cooperative group environment where cross functional synergy and supportive collaboration is the cultural norm. I’m equally comfortable working independently to solve problems and deliver a result that exceeds expectations. When not at work I can be found at church, with a veterans group and otherwise volunteering my time to help my neighbors in my local community. I especially enjoy the outdoors where I spend time hiking and bicycling with family and friends.
