Lead, Follow or Just Get Out of My Way. Simplistic, short and to the point. I picked up this axiom over 35 years ago while serving in the US Navy. As it is easy to misinterpret, I am compelled to narrate which is also short and to the point. I’m willing to follow if needed; I’m willing to lead you; if you’re not prepared to lead or follow you are impeding progress. I have managed, instructed, counseled (personally and professionally), followed and lead thousands of military and civilian people in my 45-year working career. Self-motivated, I work well with others and am effective working alone. The value of quality work, honesty and integrity is the earmark of my ethics. Six Sigma, Lean Process trained. Self-taught in Microsoft Office. Experienced with managing multiple budgets, infrastructure, and equipment/material. Ready to put my lifetime of experience to work by personal example, teaching and managing.
