Directed 11 diverse development teams and other domain architects, spanning 41 major application components- Designed and helped code a Java “Message Driven Beans” application, integrating it to the real-time, Deposits fee posting flow. The Fee Calculation Engine (FCE) achieved midrange efficiencies at mainframe speeds, under demanding scheduling requirements of Bank of America’s nightly posting processes, seamlessly appearing as another COBOL application- Introduced midrange web service development to extend Bank of America Deposits mainframe core posting and database processing. Designed the Fee Refund Application (FRA web service) using a rules engine to uniformly apply hardship criteria, policy, customer profitability, and controlled exception scoring to consistently administer refunds for a variety of fees- To validate CROSS Collections platform’s readiness for production on WAS 6 I leveraged CROSS’ extant MQ JMS framework to simulate a representative set of messages under a WAS test bed and successfully validated readiness w/in one-month while transitioning to a new bank position in Deposits.
