About Robert Scully

I'm a IT professional with more than 20 years experience, specialising in Cloud Infrastrucuture Automation. I've been working in Public Cloud for more than 10 years, and have a passion for deployment automation and infrastructure as code to achieve reliable and resilient environments. Having moved to WPP 4 years ago, my focus has been on delivering Public Cloud as a platform, delivering management solutions for multi and hybrid cloud deployments, providing managed and self service toolchains, delivered using best practice around secure deployment and least privilege. Coming from a software engineering background, I approach the problem of providing platform services by fostering enablement through a software delivery lifecycle, and driving adoption through accessibility to platform tools. As a leader within my organisation, I make it my responsibility to foster the growth and learning of the technical skills within my team, knowing when to allow team members to step up and flex their skillset, and promote creativity in how they approach problem solving, with a framework that support them.
