About Robert Shefelton

Being a goat farming arborist who works as an account executive is exactly what you may think it’s like! However, I’ll explain for better illustration. Hard work and perseverance are the cornerstone of my philosophy of life. I was raised on a farm as the only son, and am shaped by my experiences to put my all in everything thing I do. Child labor does that to people, but my parents always instilled within me that there is purpose of life in working hard and I carry that with me each day. A graduate and long-snapper from Baker University, my history as a college athlete has added to my skills of discipline, integrity, and having a goal-oriented mindset. My resilience can also be attributed to being able to constantly inform people on what a long snapper is. With these skills I have accrued over 10 years of professional experience in fields of arboriculture, agriculture, sales and transportation management. I currently have the privilege of working for Smartway Transportation as an Account Executive and Logistics Manager, and in my free time I’m a freelance painter. Some call me a jack of all trades, but I say master of opportunity! My continuous drive to learn and stay productive stems from lifelong efforts of hard work.
