About Robert Shust

Throughout my career, I have been a leader at the forefront of making our schools better through effective instruction, technological advances and professional development. My personal drive for bringing out the best in people is evident in all my interactions with staff and students. I aim to be a role model and an example for others as each day we all have the opportunity to change someone’s life for the better. I have held many roles, including Teacher, Professional Developer, Coach, Assistant Professor and School Principal. I draw from each of these experiences as we face the many challenges of educating today's children. Professional development sessions that I facilitate are collaborative and adult centered, utilizing the vast knowledge of the professionals in attendance. As a result, I have been able to implement systematic changes in data interpretation and pedagogy at the Elementary and High School levels. As a technology leader, I constantly search for the most efficient use of programs for ease of accessibility and the ability to research data to make informed decisions to promote greater student success.
