Using technology to manufacture smiles. Taking an arduous task and creating a new process that simplifies and transfers human effort to the proverbial back of technology, this is my professional passion. Throughout my 30+ years in the technology sector my pleasure has been continuous improvement. After joining Jabil (now iQor) in I was quickly selected as the program manager for the first Failure Analysis team for our customer Cisco Systems. Our product was data that we gathered from the failed Cisco equipment. My team and I would recreate the network topology of the failed equipment and determine root cause down to the component level. These findings were recorded in a massive database for trend analysis and corrective action. The success of this program led to a follow-on business for the repair of more than 300 unique models of Cisco telecom equipment. I was chosen to lead this program as the Production Repair Manager with more than 70 employees and $2M+ monthly revenue. Being a very data driven person, I have endeavored to learn relational databases. This enabled me to develop a simple MS Access database that I later evolved into a complete shop floor system that would drive the entire production floor. This innovative database allowed me to use data to track progress and make improvements across the entire operation. I had worked for iQor, AMS (Formerly Jabil - Acquired by iQor May, 2014) for 18 years when it became evident that our customer (Cisco) had made a decision to consolidate their North American contract repair vendors. This meant our plant would be closing. I then decided to relocate my family to the Huntsville area where my extended family is.
