As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Smartmatic, I apply my skills and knowledge in computer software engineering and development to ensure the quality and reliability of election software solutions. I graduated from Flatiron School with a degree in Computer Software Engineering, and also completed an associate's degree in Software Development from Front Range Community College. In my current role, I work extensively with election tablets, conducting functional, regression, and smoke testing to verify that they meet the specified requirements and standards. I collaborate closely with developers to address and resolve any issues identified during the testing phase, ensuring the seamless integration of feedback into the software development process. I also maintain compliance frameworks, proactively assessing and mitigating risks associated with compliance and quality assurance. I am passionate about delivering high-quality and secure products that enable fair and transparent elections, and I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team that shares this vision.
