About Robert Stanell

I earned my BSBA at Washington University in St. Louis with a major in accounting in Spring 2015, and went on to complete my Masters in Accounting through the Olin Business School in Spring 2016. Upon graduation, I began working full time with at CS & L CPAs as part of the tax team, preparing complex personal, business, and trust income tax returns. With a focus on high net worth clients with complex investments, I gained a great deal of experience with the taxation and accounting issues surrounding cryptocurrency, hedge funds, and other alternative investments. After three years with CS & L's tax team, I switched over to the Outsourced Accounting and CFO Services department. As part of this team, my roles and responsibilities run the gamut from compliance (preparing sales tax returns, issuing invoices, reconciling financial statement accounts) to value-add services (reviewing contracts, providing cash flow projections, financial data analysis). When I'm not working with clients, you can find me walking my dog around the neighborhood with my wife, or three-putting my way to 100.
