About Robert Stengel

As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Art History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, I have developed a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of photography, video production, and stage management. My academic background, combined with hands-on experience in freelance photography and stagehand roles, has allowed me to refine my skills in visual storytelling, composition, and technical problem-solving. With expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator) and professional experience with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, I am passionate about creating high-quality visual content that captures unique perspectives. In addition to photography, I have developed a technical understanding of stage setups and live event production, having worked at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and State Farm Center. My ability to troubleshoot technical issues, manage lighting and sound, and collaborate with diverse teams in fast-paced environments has helped me thrive in these roles. I am eager to expand my skills in digital media production and am seeking opportunities to apply my experience in a creative and collaborative environment. Whether it's through photography, video production, or other visual media, I am committed to creating content that tells compelling stories and supports the goals of a team.
