Over the course of a 20 year career I have designed and analyzed many notable and many un-notable structures to resist the effects of extreme events such as Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Floods, Flash Mob Dance Parties, Raucous Fans Cheering for their teams, and Bomb Blasts. My project experience includes project management and structural design of hospitals and medical office buildings, K-12 and higher education projects, federal, civic and retail. I believe in collaboration and partnering and enjoy finding unique and inventive ways to make complex problems and projects appear simple and direct. As a licensed General Contractor I appreciate the difficulties encountered in the field and constantly try to improve our structural designs by incorporating lessons learned and new ideas.
