As a blue team cybersecurity analyst, I take pride in protecting systems and networks through disciplined, methodical work. I focus on defense - detecting, responding to, and mitigating threats. My focus areas include preparation, identification, and containment (as outlined in the PICERL framework), or preparation, detection and analysis, and containment (under the NIST incident response lifecycle). I believe that a strong SOC is built not just on tools, but on people who understand how to respond with clarity and precision under pressure. I believe in leveraging automation to optimize SOC workflows and improve response times, while also tuning detection logic to minimize false positives, reduce alert fatigue, and ensure analysts can focus on high-fidelity threats. I actively seek out new knowledge - from training and certifications to hands-on experience and peer collaboration - because good security is never static, and staying ready is part of the job.
