About Robert Suchopa

A little something from my professional life: I'm just getting myself into a new role of researcher for UniCRE. Getting back to my roots (Industrial chemistry with focus on oil refining & petrochemical technologies) after 3,5 years spent in automotive industry feels really exciting and I'm looking forward towards facing new challenges along the way. I'm hoping that my new role will bring at least a tiny little bit of change into the area of plastic waste management and other related chemical technologies & processes. My background: After I finished my studies at the Department of Petroleum Technology and Alternative Fuels (UCT Prague, 06/15) in the field of petroleum refining, technology, simulation of chemical processes and corrosion mechanism (see the topic of my Master thesis) I went on a little experience collecting adventure to automotive industry. Working for Bosch for 3,5 years as a part of team of developers for exhaust gas sensors for ICEs brought great deal of experience connected with staying abroad (Stuttgart, Germany, 9 months) as well with culture of working & management style in huge international company. I have focused on number of topics, most of which were connected to either continuous improvement of testing & validation process or in extensive data analysis. And finally - who I am? When it comes to cooperation with bunch of people, I mostly rely at my enthusiasm, responsibility, patience, systematic perfectionism and ability to be a good listener. I can also be really cheerful and fun-to-be-around, so I think that all of these aspects of my personality helped me to achieve both - sucess in professional tasks as well as getting good friends from my colleagues. And last, but not least - I try to be informed regarding current global political and economical situation. And because my colleagues value my opinions and insights - I built up ability to look at problems from a perspective.
