About Robert Sume

I graduated from Bilkent University, Industrial Engineering (2018), and have been building my career in large-scale EPC projects across petrochemical and refinery industries since then. I started as Insulation & Painting Engineer in the LIWA Plastic Industries Complex (Oman), later moved into project controls at the DUQM Refinery Project, where I implemented real-time dashboards and supported subcontractor management. Promoted to Project Control Manager in 2021, I oversaw cost, schedule, and risk monitoring, contract administration, and claims management (FIDIC). Since 2023, I have been working with Tecnicas Reunidas as Production Control Lead, first in the SASA PTA Project (Adana) and currently in the Ceyhan PDH-PP & Terminal Project (Madrid HQ). I specialize in SQL-based project databases, advanced reporting systems, and data visualization tools, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in project execution. With strong expertise in international construction contracts, claims, and project controls, I bring both technical and managerial insight to complex, multi-billion-dollar industrial projects.
