About Robert Suttle

Robert transforms lived experience into leadership and social change. Drawing from more than two decades of advocacy, he is a nationally recognized community thought leader, speaker, and consultant who confronts HIV criminalization, stigma, and discrimination while advancing equity and building pathways toward justice through strategy, education, and storytelling. His work centers on supporting organizations, coalitions, and movements to advance policy reform, strengthen advocacy, and reimagine systems of care for people living with and disproportionately impacted by HIV, particularly across the Southern United States. Through his consultancy, Robert collaborates with leaders and organizations across the HIV, LGBTQ+, and broader social-impact communities, including academic institutions, public agencies, and socially responsible businesses, to design strategies that promote awareness, education, and systemic change.
