Highly accomplished Geotechnical Engineer with experience in a diverse range of projects across Australia and New Zealand. Successful engineering consultant supporting various projects including mining and oil & gas infrastructure, renewable energy (wind, solar & geothermal), civil works (road, rail and water) and residential/industrial land developments. Solution-focused engineer working closely with other consultants to derive practical and cost-effective solutions. Experienced in coordinating site investigations, undertaking geotechnical analyses and design for a range of geohazards including soft (compressible) soils, slope stability and seismic hazards. Project experience has taken Robert from designing pavements and foundations for remote medical centres across Australia’s Northern Territory, the design of large earthfill dams for stormwater detention to implementing ground improvement remedial measures beneath multi-storey CBD buildings. As a CPEng, Robert is also responsible for undertaking geotechnical peer reviews through resource and building consent phases.
