About Robert Tesch

Executive with ~30 years of international experience in Central Eastern Europe in various industry segments (Industry Automation, IT, Energy Automation) and different management roles for various business types (product, system, solution, service, software). Beeing a passionate technician since my childhood I am also very much interested in human beings and fascinated about the variety of human natures. I strongly believe that technology is here to serve humans and not vice versa. Perhaps this is my very personal interpretation of Yin/Yang;) While any kind of technology, even historic, attracts me, I am currently involved in one of humans most challenging adventure: Changing our energy source from fossile to solar (be it photo voltaic, wind, water.) into the all electrical world. At Siemens Smart Infrastructure we deal with the components for this journey, solutions for smart grids and decentral energy solutions: grid automation, medium voltage switchgears, eCar charging infrastructure, smart metering, virtual powerplants, microgrids, demand response management, IoT, cyber security, energy analytics. and so much more!
