About Robert Thurston

I am a Biomedical Engineer motivated to build well-rounded engineering capabilities through diverse assignments, cross-functional collaborations, and pursuit of complementary on-the-job training. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Master of Science in the same field. During my time at Purdue, I served as Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, where I worked on two projects related to radiofrequency wave propagation through the brain and 5G mobile phone and prostate simulation. I developed computational models using Sim4Life to simulate and analyze the interactions between electromagnetic fields and human tissues, and to investigate the potential effects of EM exposure on lower organs. I am passionate about applying my biomedical engineering skills and knowledge to address real-world problems and challenges. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to create a positive and supportive environment for myself and others. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and contribute to the organization's goals and vision.
