About Robert Topper

As a recent graduate of the Construction Engineering Technician (CET) and soon to be graduating from the Civil Engineering Technologist program at Algonquin College, I am keen to put what I have learned into practice and know that my years of work experience will be an asset. I am an accomplished Red Seal Carpenter with over five years of experience leading determined teams and completing quality, various scaled projects in commercial and residential industries. I have had the opportunity to be directly involved with successfully scheduling and coordinating multiple consultants, sub-trades and partners on busy job sites and maintaining quality control through observations, inspections, and records management. Working for Tamarack North as a licensed Carpenter gave me an in-depth knowledge of construction, the ability to read, understand and update blueprints and job specifications, efficient site planning/organization, and effective communication between all team members. My ability to think quickly enabled me to efficiently solve issues on job sites, providing valuable time and cost savings to my employer. Through my education and years of practical work experience, I am confident I have the knowledge and skills to make a positive contribution.
