About Robert Trevizo

With over 20 years of combined experience as an ASE Master Technician, performance builder, and automotive instructor, I bring a unique mix of technical expertise, leadership, and industry insight spanning dealership, luxury import, and performance motorsports environments. I began my career as a hands-on technician and quickly grew into informal mentorship roles at Luna Performance and Audi of El Paso, where I guided junior technicians in advanced diagnostics, tuning, and shop workflow. While at Audi, I also supported the Volvo division, broadening my expertise in European luxury brands and dealership service standards while maintaining high CSI scores and repair accuracy. As Lead Tuning Instructor at Western Technical College, I’ve formalized this leadership experience—mentoring and placing over 200+ technicians into dealership service departments and regional performance shops. I’ve also spearheaded high-profile motorsports builds (including a 756hp drag car and a NHRA funny car) while maintaining industry partnerships that bridge OEM-level standards with aftermarket innovation. I am passionate about building high-performing service teams, streamlining shop operations, and developing workforce-ready technicians who thrive in both dealership and performance environments. My goal is to leverage this unique dual perspective—fixed ops discipline and motorsports creativity—to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and technician growth in the automotive industry.
